At ten years old, I gazed at a sky filled with stars, and the sheer, overwhelming vastness struck me with such force that I felt a profound sense of losing myself. It was a humbling moment, one that laid bare the smallness of my own existence.

The wonder and respect for the universe and the profound questions about our own existence, as exemplified by Paul Gauguin’s questions— “Where Do We Come From? What Are We? Where Are We Going?”—have deeply rooted within me.

    • In the exploration of the origins of life and planets in the universe, researchers confront the question: "Q. Where Do We Come From?"
    • In high-stakes corporate transactions with deal values exceeding $10 billion, CxOs confront the question: “Q. What Are We?”
    • In investment discussions involving new visions, services, or products that are barely recognized by others, investors confront the question: “Q. Where Are We Going?”

    Q. Where Do I Come From?

    From the forefront of the
    space studies and finance

    • During my graduate studies, I participated in a Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology project that gets across the border of various research fields and institutions, focusing on theoretical research into the formation and evolution of planets that enable life. As part of my study, planetary exploration using the Subaru Telescope in Hawaii was operated. I conducted planetary exploration using the Subaru Telescope in Hawaii. Alongside my academic work, I tackled the philosophical questions—"Where Do We Come From? What Are We? Where Are We Going?"—through a multidisciplinary approach, integrating physics, astronomy, geology, life sciences, and computer science. I was also an active drummer and developed an astronomy observation app based on my research.
    • At Morgan Stanley, I worked in the Investment Banking Division, closely collaborating with a range of executives and investors from startups to companies valued at $100+Bn. My responsibilities included market and competitor analysis and constructing financial models. I was involved in numerous M&A deals and fundraising activities, including the dual listing IPOs by Telecom Media Technology companies on both the New York Stock Exchange and Tokyo Stock Exchange.
    • At ispace, as Chief Mission Officer, I lead space missions in the initiation and execution of lunar orbit and landing missions. I secured funding from numerous companies and investment funds to develop new industrial frontiers. My work established capital and business partnerships with private companies and government space agencies for lunar exploration, raised over $100M, and established the business and financial infrastructure for the company’s IPO.
